Jake Malcolm Adkins age 73 of Columbus passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2003 at St. Ann's Hospital Westerville. Preceded in death by daughter Ramona Adkins; parents Wade & Artie (Sanders) Adkins; brothers Wayne, Emmett Adkins; sister Merlie Adkins. Survived by loving wife Melissa; children Relma (Clarence) Trout, Rick (Susan) Adkins, Bernard (Margie) Adkins, Tony (Leah) Adkins, Larry (Laura) Adkins and Darren (Kimberly) Adkins; grandchildren Melissa Dunn, Scott, Amanda, Bethany and Deena Adkins, great-granddaughter Aviyon Adkins; brother Deward (Gaye) Adkins. Visitation Thursday from 5-8 PM at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road. Columbus. Funeral service is 10 AM, Friday, at the funeral home. James VanHoose officiating.
