James Richard Bengston

James Richard Bengston, 74, of Columbus, passed away on November 23, 2024. He was born September 4, 1950, to Richard John and Ruby (Heisey) Bengston.

Jim graduated from South high school in 1968 

Jim loved Music. Mostly the Blues and rock and roll.

He was a friend to all. He never met a stranger. If you needed anything he was there.

He leaves behind many friends and family.

He will be deeply missed by his wife Laura (Black) 42 years of Marriage. 47 years together.

He is survived by 3 grandsons-Jeffrey, Nick, and Brian, brother-in-law Donald Black and his wife Debbie, Nephew John Black and wife Princess, best Friend John Taracko, and wife Nola.

Preceded in death by His Father Richard, Mother Ruby, And Daughter Trisha.
