James Douglas Boyd, 73, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 in Columbus, Ohio.
Jim was born on March 14, 1950 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Jack and Pauline Boyd.
He is preceded in death by brother, David A. Boyd and nephew, John Wilkinson.
Jim is survived by sister, Rita Ingle; life partner, Carolyn Earnhardt and nephew, James Wilkinson.
Jim proudly served in the United States Army. He was graduate of The Ohio State University. He was director of transportation for Franklin County Board of Developmental Disabilities and was deeply involved with the State of Ohio Special Olympics. He enjoyed working out and riding his motor scooter. Jim volunteered at the family Eisenacher Nursery for many years. He was a friend to all and never knew a stranger. Jim loved his kitties, She-She and Barney.
