James Everett Cobb, 70, passed away peacefully, February 27, 2010 surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Duron and Vera and son, John Kevin. Jim is survived by his wife of 26 years, Edna; sister, Margie (Frederick) Seitz; brother, Charles (Erma); children, Renee Wenger, Lisa (Greg) Laney, Pamela (Greg) Gilmon, Mike (Crecy) and John (Cathy) Young; grandchildren, Nicholas, Caitlin, Sarah, Matthew (Kristen), Shawn, Christopher (Mindy), Allen, Amber and Peggy; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Brianna, Lexie, Keith and Shawn. Jim had many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that he loved dearly. Jim served in the United States Air Force for eight years, retired from Anheuser Busch and then enjoyed driving a semi for the last ten years. He loved restoring and trading cars and many other items. Visitation Tuesday, March 2, 2010 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at 12 PM. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Columbus, OH. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Tribute Program, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
