James C. Cornwell, 79, of New Holland, Ohio, formerly of Hilliard, Ohio, passed away March 1, 2007. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Virginia (May) Cornwell; children, Jackie Cornwell, Carol Dalton, Jim (Bobbie) Cornwell, Tracy (Randy) Samson; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Don (Peggy) Cornwell; sisters, Ann Smith, Wilma (Ed) Stickel and Dorothy (Clark) Smith. James was a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church. He was also a veteran of the US Army and retired from the military after 22 years of service. Funeral services will be held 6:00PM Monday, March 5, 2007 at Pleasant View Baptist Church, 2525 Gantz Rd. N., Grove City, Ohio. Visitation will be held 1:00-3:00PM and 5:00PM until time of services at the church on Monday, March 5, 2007. Dr. C. Curtis Sheets will be officiating.
