James Hershel Cypher, 81, of Powell, passed away Friday, October 27, 2006 at his residence. He was born February 10, 1925, in New Kensington, Pennslyvania, son of the late Elwood and Esther Heilman Cypher. He is survived by his wife, Emma Cypher; daughter, Cynthia Northrup; sons, David (Arlene) Cypher and Craig Cypher; sister, Betty Glentzer; grandchildren, Thomas Northrup and Emmy Bedford; great grandchildren, Jamie Northrup, Carter Bedford and Kathy Northrup. He is preceded in death by his sisters, Irene and Mary; brother, Delmar. At Mr. Cypher's request, his body has been cremated. Arrangements have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road N.E. Chapel, Columbus. Messages of condolence may be left at www.newcomerfamily.com
