James E. Deel passed away peacefully at home with his wife Patty by his side. Born March 11 1938 in Grundy Va. to the late Woodrow Deel and Dorothy (Prater) Deel also preceeded in death by his sister Carmie Deel. Jim was a long time Mason contractor and a world famous Hydroplane boat racer, owner and driver. Survived by his wife Patty Cumbo, step children Diana (Mike) Hiler, Deanna (Rusty) Revels, Belinda (Dave) Palka and John (Cindy) Cumbo 9 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on April 2nd at 1:00 PM at the Genoa Baptist Church.
