James F. Johnson

James F. Johnson, 90, passed away Sunday, May 24,2009 in Westerville, OH. He was born to Leslie and Florence Johnson on November 14, 1918. James is survived by his wife, Bernice; children, Bryan (Gail) Johnson, Joyce Cassidy, and Gary (Barbara) Johnson; siblings Leslie (Mabel) Johnson, the late Eleanor Whetzel and Dorothy Ball; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. James served as a Sergeant in the United States Army which included three years in the Southwest Pacific. Memorial Service 12PM, Thursday, May 28, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, OH with visitation one hour prior. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Lung Association, 1950 Arlingate Lane, Columbus, OH 43228.
