James Daniel Foor

James "Jim" Foor, 87, of New Albany, went to be with the Lord on August 4, 2021 at Mt. Carmel Hospital. Jim was born to the late G.C. and Elizabeth Foor. Jim retired from Ferrelgas and farming. Jim owned and operated Foor's Mini Storage. Jim was a member of Christian Life Fellowship. He enjoyed gardening, was an avid Ohio State football fan and spending time with his family. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Phyllis Foor, three children Brenda (John) Donaldson of Foley, Alabama, Becki (Rick) Burns of New Albany and Mike Foor (Ruth Stahl) of Pataskala, six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by six sisters and one brother. A service for the immediate family will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude or the Wounded Warriors.
