James V. Grant

James "Tigger" Grant, age 41, was taken home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 11, 2021. He worked as an IT Engineering Specialist with Quest. James truly lived life to the fullest from chatting with friends and family, coaching and mentoring youth football, and spending time fishing. He was an avid Jordan shoe collector and pool player. In September 2021, he reached a personal dream to play in the World Pool Tournament in Las Vegas. James was a family man and prioritized his family above everything else in his life. We will all remember his boisterous laugh, contagious smile, and strong bear hugs. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley, and sister, Sonia, grandparents Herman and Hazel. He is survived by his father, James (Odessa), sister, Virginia, brothers, Tyrone, Arthur (Ann), and Bryon (Martika), , fiancé, Renee, father to Keeli and Kyan, father figure to Ashley, Chloe, Chase and Jensen, uncle to Kali, Kayla, Kadeem, and a host of other nieces and nephews, great uncle to Kamiyah, nephew to Gwendolyn, Marvalene, Cheryl, and Tonya. And many more family and friends that have enriched his life. We will celebrate his life at Newcomers Northwest Chapel 10051 Brewster Ln, Powell, Ohio, 43065 on Friday, December 17th, 2021, 2:00pm-4:00pm viewing and 4:00pm celebration of life. Inurnment will be at Flint Cemetery in Worthington, Ohio.
