James Gray

James D. Gray, 78, went to be with the Lord, Friday, June 1, 2012 at Mt. Carmel East. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys and father, Harvey (Rose) of Chillicothe; brother, Leroy; daughter, Vicki and son, Jimmy.

James is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Delores; sisters, Thelma (Ted) Penwell and Freda (Bernard) Ellis; daughter, Kathy (Robert) Buzzelli; and son, Brian (Linda). "Papaw Honey Jim" also leaves behind 9 grandchildren, Nicole (Clay), Bobby Dale, Justin (Amanda), Nicholas James, Andrea (Shawn), Erica (Dan), Joseph, Amanda and Noah; 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.

He served in Korea while in the United States Army. He also retired from General Motors Fisher Body after 36 ½ years of service.

Visitation Monday, June 4, 2012 from 5-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at 11 am at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Obetz Cemetery, Obetz, OH.
