James Randall Hall

James Randall Hall, 95 of Pataskala, Ohio, passed away Sunday, April 28th, 2024. Born May 11th, 1928 in Stone, Kentucky, to the late Ballard and Fannie (Allen) Hall. Preceded in death by wife Virginia (Croaff) Hall and wife Ethel (Cooke) Hall.

James enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1945, WWII Occupation and Korean War, 11th Airborne Division, 187th Combat Team. He served his country with pride. Worked at N&W Railway until retirement. Enjoyed family, westerns, farming, hunting, and travel.

Survived by his children, James A. Hall, Kim (Nick) Gulyassy and Jeanne (James) Heinmiller; grandchildren, Kyle (Amber) Gulyassy, Gabrielle(Ryan) Reading and Victor (Brie) Gulyassy, Erik (Rachael) Heinmiller and Joshua Heinmiller; great grandchildren, Ruthie and Ehren.

Friends may call Thursday, May 2nd from 5:00-7:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, with prayer at 6:30 PM.

A graveside service with military rites presented by the Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 141, Belfry, KY, will be conducted at 2:00 pm, on Friday, May 3, 2024, at the Fairview Cemetery in West Williamson, WV.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Disabled American Veterans dedicated in memory of James R. Hall.
