James E. Hennig, 66, of Columbus, passed away December 11, 2007. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Mary Hennig; wife, Carol; son, Floyd "Buster" and brother, Thomas "Turk" Hennig. James is survived by his daughter, Evelyn Gray; grandchildren, Crystal, Matthew, Robert; brothers, Walter "Sonny", Ron, Chris Hennig; sisters, Mary Nugent, Kathy Law and many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Ms. Milco for her kind and compassionate care. James retired as a prison guard from the Ohio Corrections System. An urn burial will be held 1:00PM Saturday, January 5, 2008 at Pleasant Cemetery, Mt. Sterling, Ohio. Pastor Becky Mack will be officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Kobacker House or The American Cancer Society. Messages of condolence may be left at www.NewcomerFamily.com
