James Floyd Hobson II, 54 of Columbus passed away June 26, 2023.
James "Jimmy" Hobson was born July 22, 1968 to James Floyd Hobson I and Mitzi (McGraw) Belanger.
Jimmy had a love-hate relationship with cars and motorcycles ever since he was a teenager. It was a sort of passion that stuck with him throughout his life that he ended up selling car parts in his older age. You could also find him watching his favorite football teams, The Buckeyes as well as the Cleveland Browns. He was definitely a loyal man not only to his favorite sports teams but to his family as well. He would make sure to spend as much time with his children and grandchildren as he could. He would show up to any extra curricular activities his children did and he looked forward to watching his grandchildren as well.
Jimmy was married to the love of his life Miranda (Bethel) Hobson for 26 years. Jimmy would say she was the reason he believed in love at first sight. She is also the reason he preached love to his children and how once you meet your person you just know.
Jimmy will be deeply missed by his wife and children. He's survived by his wife Miranda, his children Mitzi Hobson and James (Amber) Hobson. His grandchildren Leilani, Liem, Leia and James. His mother Mitzi Belanger and sisters Traci Pierce and Jenifer (John) Green.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his father James Floyd Hobson I, step-mother Kathleen Hobson and grandparents Ruth Edna and Andrew Jackson McGraw and Grandparents MaryJane and Marion Edward Hobson. As well as his best friend/father in law Gregory "opie" Estep.
