James E. Hope, 62, of Columbus, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2008, at his residence. Born to the late James and Agnes (Whitesell) Hope in Columbus on September 27, 1945, Jim is survived by his wife June (Thompson) Hope; daughters, Kathy (Scott McCormick) Lee, April and Laurie; sons, James J. (Elizabeth) Hope Jr., Aaron and Michael Hope; sisters, Lori (Earl) Chase, Elizabeth (Dan Doyle) Bayes, Diane (Robert) Shyrigh, Susan (Randy) Finley; grandchildren, Bethany Lee, Jessica, D.J. and Ian Hope. Jim was retired from Midwest Logistics and was very active in the First Baptist Church of Groveport. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 11, 2008, 5-8PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH with a Funeral Service on Monday, May 12, 2008, 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Groveport, 5521 Groveport Road, Groveport, OH. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the church.
