James "Jerry" Jarrell, 75, of Grove City, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2009 at Mt. Carmel West. He was born February 18, 1934 in Montcoal, W.Va., son of the late Kiley and Marie Jarrell. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his brother, Randall Price; sister, Sharon Pauley, son-in-law, John McLoughlin Sr. and brother-in-law, Richard Moses. He worked for Anderson Concrete for 37 years. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Charlene Ann Jarrell; daughter, Kathy McLoughlin; grandson, J.R. McLoughlin; brothers, Charles Mickey (Loretta) Jarrell and Johnny Allen; sister, Shirley Mullins; cousins, Roger (Ann) Jewel and Gazel Ray Jewel; brother-in-law, John Moses. Visitation will be Friday, November 27, 2009 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway Grove City. Funeral service will be Saturday, November 28, 2009 at 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior to services. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Central Ohio Chapter, 225 City Gate Drive Suite E Columbus, OH 43219.
