James "Jd" Robinson

James "JD" Robinson, 69, of Grove City, OH passed away October 11, 2012. He was born in Columbus, OH on November 12, 1942. He was a veteran serving in the US Navy. JD was an avid golfer, bowler and OSU fan. He enjoyed his career in Corrections. He had a amazing sense of humor and treasured his vacations in Myrtle Beach with his golf buddies.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul C. and Virginia (Sines) Robinson, brothers, Paul and Rick Robinson. Surviving family includes, wife, Gloria, children, Doug Greer, Melissa Moerch, Ricci Wilson, Kandi Robinson, Kevin Robinson, sister, Theresa Robinson and brother, John Ansel, grandchildren, Justin and Joe Bennett, Christina, Kaytelynn, Tessa Goody, Kaycie, Killian, Braden, Jaimee, Brandon, 5 great-grandchildren, special pets Taz and Putter, other family members and numerous friends.

A gathering of friends and family will be held from 5:00 to 6:00pm, Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH, where a memorial service will begin at 6:00pm.
