James "Jim" Brown

James R. "Jim" Brown, 74, passed away October 9, 2010 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 24, 1936 in Findlay, OH to Maxine Powers Brown. Jim is survived by his wife of 51 years, Carolee Curran Brown; children, Patrick Brown, Jennifer Brown and Susan (Thomas) Wisvari; grandchildren, Chrissi Wisvari, Max Brown, Sam Wisvari and Nate Brown. He was the owner of The Village Bootery in Lima, OH, where he loved serving his community. He retired in 1998 from the JTPA where he was very active on the county and state level. After retiring, he served on the Board of Directors at The Village of Pine Manor in Grove City, OH. Memorial Visitation Friday, October 15, 2010 from 6-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Memorial Service Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 11 AM at the Funeral Home.
