James "Jim" K. Wright, 79 of Columbus, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born March 28, 1933 in Utica, Ohio to the late Howard Williard and Edith Belle (Reynolds) Wright.
Jim was a veteran of the U. S. Army where he served from 1953 to 1955. He was employed as a Barber for over 50 years in the Columbus area. For 40 of those years he worked with business partner Paul Andrews. He was an avid sketcher doing portraits for many family members and friends.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by grandson, Jacob Zvansky; brothers, Kenneth and Wayne Wright.
He is survived by Anna L. (Kazee) Wright; children, Michael Wright and Tracey Zvansky; grandchildren, Joshua, Kacie, Cara and Zachary; one great granddaughter, Abigail and many nieces and nephew.
Friends may call from 5-8 PM Monday, August 13, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, Ohio where funeral services will be held at 10 AM Tuesday. Private family burial in Homer Cemetery at a later date.
