James passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 12, 2022. He was born on February 7, 1967.
James was a retired Master Certified Automotive Technician. He loved his Camaros and most recently his 2001 Corvette C5. In his younger years, he enjoyed many years drag racing his favorite cars at National Trails and Pacemakers drag racing tracks.
James was an avid sports fan. He loved Nascar, and even though he resided in Florida, he was always ready to support and cheer on The Ohio State Buckeyes! James coached little league and Gahanna travel baseball for his son's teams for many, many years and adored the boys he coached.
James adored his children and grandchildren.
James is survived by his children, Jack R. Kendall (Jill) and daughter Amber N. Kendall (Brandon). Grandchildren, Danny, Madison, Maddox, Braxton, Harper and Isabella. Tina Cummings, life friend and mother of his children. Sister Vicki Kendall-Meade, a nephew and niece, many cousins. He will be missed by close friends Wesley Stevens, Robert Christman, Ken Herb, and many others.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 11am to 1pm, Friday, September 23, 2022 at Newcomer Funeral Home, NW Chapel, 10051 Brewster Ln, Powell, OH, where a funeral service will begin at 1pm. Burial to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Westerville, OH.
