James "Jim" J. Lewis, 90, of Grove City, formerly of Sunbury, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2009. He was a graduate of Aquinas High School and Ohio State University, a veteran of WWII, and retired from Columbus Show Case Company. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Virginia K. Lewis; parents, James and Dorothy Lewis; sister, Mary Merrill; and brother in-law, Nicholas C. Merrill. He is survived by his daughter, Nancy Fuller; son, James (Barbara) Lewis; grandchildren, Tim Fuller, Lindsay Fuller, and Emily Holloman; great grandchildren, Torre and Jenne; sister in-law, Jane (Ed) Gegenheimer; Joe and Kelley Weeks; and Brett and Robin Underwood. Visitation will be held Friday, October 9, 2009 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Funeral service will be held Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 10:00AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
