After a courageous battle against Cancer, on Friday April 6, 2012 James Alvin Lively made his journey home to be with loved ones that had passed before him. Preceding him in death was James mother Maude Lively (South Bend, Indiana), his father Johnny Lively (Birmingham, Alabama), Brothers Johnny Ray Lively and Charles Flora Jr. of South Bend, Indiana, and his Sister Delores White of Creston, Ohio. James enjoyed locksmithing and tinkering around with electronics. While he often found difficulty finding the words to express him-self, he found enjoyment in making others smile.
James fought many personal demons in his life, and approx fifteen years ago with the help of his family and his "mechanic friend" Brian he chose to let God take control and make some major changes in his life. James assured anyone who asked, that he knew he was going to heaven when the time came, and fought like a champion in life. James worked at Wal-Mart in Zephyhills, Fl where he was well loved by all who worked with him, and regretted the day he could no longer continue calling himself a Wal-Mart associate. He found comfort at work, and enjoyed all that life had to offer. James Alvin "Peanut" Lively will be well missed by all, until we meet again.
