James Joseph Malinas
October 22, 1952 — July 4, 2022
James Joseph Malinas, 69, passed away on July 4, 2022. He was preceded in death by Milton and Elsie Malinas; sister, Marlene Mazza. Jim is survived by his wife of 50 years, Debbie Malinas; daughter, Anne (Chris) Engle; grandchildren, Logan (Samantha Tarr) Engle and Mackenzie (Joe Jardine) Engle; great-granddaughter, Emma Jardine; brother, Michael (Toni) Malinas; niece and nephews; as well as furry companions, Candy and Frankie.
Jim attended Rocky River High School and Lorain Community College and served in the United States Army. He retired from DCSC in 2008 after 36 years of service. Jim was a member of the Groveport United Methodist Church.
Memorial Service to be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Groveport UMC or the Fairfield Area Humane Society, 1721 Granville Pike, PO Box 1109, Lancaster, OH 43130.
