James L. Marcum, 53, of Columbus, passed away August 24, 2010. He was born October 29, 1956, and is preceded in death by his parents, James M. and Gertrude Marcum; and granddaughter Candy Chapman. He is survived by his loving wife Connie Marcum; children Christina (Chris) Brown, and James "BJ" Marcum; brothers, Archie Marcum and Jerry Wright; sisters, Mary Ellen (John) Hatfield, Ida May Marcum, and Ora Marcum; granddaughter Kimberly Chapman; niece and nephews James Brooks, Mary Marcum, Gary and Jerry Woodrow; and many friends. Visitation will be held Monday August 30, 2010 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123, with funeral service to follow at 7 PM.
