James Morris

James E. Morris, 86 Years Old, Columbus, Ohio, passed away on May 28, 2021.
He was born in Columbus, OH on January 18, 1935 to the late John and Mattie (Nowlin) Morris.
He is preceded in death by his father, mother, brother John Morris, sister Rebekah Morris, sister Rose Wagoner.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Marva (Helm), daughter Charlotte Wildermuth (Morris), son-in law James Wildermuth and sister Catherine Morris.
James enjoyed life very much. His interests included working on cars, gardening and spending time with family and friends; but, most of all he cherished spending time teaching interested persons the truth about God's word the Bible.
He served as an elder for over 50 years in the East Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, where he was privileged to teach and counsel and offer comfort. Although he will be sadly missed by all who knew him, we look forward to seeing him again in the resurrection.
James wholeheartedly believed Jesus Christ's words at John 5:28, 29, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out…"
