James Matthew Mosley

James Matthew Mosley, 73, of Columbus, Ohio peacefully passed away on March 15th, 2024.

James affectionately known by family and friends as Rudy or Matthew, was born to James Sargent and Betty Jean (Grimes) Mosley, on December 26, 1950 in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.

James was a loving and devoted husband and father. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and working with horses. He enjoyed using his skills to enrich the lives of others, especially young people. He was a man of few words, and when he was able to share his talents and knowledge with others the smile on his face said it all.

Continuing on the path of helping others, Apostle James used the word of God to start several ministry group to counsel and support individuals and couples.

James began his career at Ohio Bell. Upon earning his degree in Construction Engineering from Franklin University he started his own construction consulting firm, Mosley and Associates LLC.

Preceded in death by his father, James Sargent Mosley and son James Edward Mosley.

James will be deeply missed by his wife of 12 years; his mother Betty Jean Mosley; daughter Angela Dent; sisters Belinda and Bernita Mosley; grandchildren Sabrina and James "Sam" Mosley, Sierra and Alana Dent; Nephew Terrence Mosley, Niece Tiffany Mosley and a host of family and dear friends.
