James Nicholson, 74, of Columbus, passed away Monday, June 21, 2010 at Doctors West. He was born June 26, 1935 in Salem, WV, son of the late Herbert and Geneva Nicholson. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his daughter, Tami Ellis. He is survived by his son, Jamey (Colleen) Nicholson; daughters, Toni (Robert) Kinney and Tina Burns; brother, Pete (Esther); sisters, Irene and Arlene; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Amanda, Joseph, Aime and Alaina; six great grandchildren and many close friends. Visitation will be Friday, June 25, 2010 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway Grove City. Funeral service will be Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.
