James "Jimmy" Noble, born on October 2, 1956, in Garrison, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2025, leaving behind a vibrant legacy that’s a true testament to his feisty spirit. Who could forget those piercing blue eyes that sparkled with mischief and a smile that could disarm the grumpiest of souls. Jimmy was the kind of man who didn’t just light up a room; he set it ablaze with his humor and warm-heartedness.
A jack of all trades, Jimmy wore many hats throughout his life. As a janitor, mechanic, and scrapper, he knew a thing or two about hard work and getting his hands dirty. He forged his own path, proving that no job was too menial for a man with his kind of spirit. And let’s not gloss over his education at the Ohio School for the Deaf – that place not only educated him but imbued him with resilience and an unyielding zest for life.
Jimmy’s hobbies were as colorful as his personality. He found joy in fishing, camping, and spending time outdoors. Not one to shy away from life’s simple pleasures, you’d undoubtedly find him savoring a cup of coffee, perhaps with a good chuckle on his lips, reveling in both nature and camaraderie. Known to enjoy marijuana, he embraced life with a laid-back attitude and a heart full of laughter.
Family was everything to Jimmy. He is survived by his beloved daughters: Shirley (Jon) Noble and Lori (Chucky) Lawson, and Leslie (Randy) Barfknecht. A formidable crew of grandchildren, including Julie, Jordan, Champane, Destiny, Mariah, Princess, Sylvia, Justin, Joey, Khlo'e, Lonnie, Andrea, Austin, Nathan, and Ellie. His sister, Bonnie Hutchinson. He had an abundance of great-grandchildren and a plethora of nieces, nephews, and cherished friends in the deaf community—living proof that love multiplies and grows louder with every laugh shared.
Jimmy had his fair share of loss, having been predeceased by his beloved mother Dorothy May Clark, father James Noble, wife Patricia Brown, and great-grandchildren Brooklyn and Jamarion. But if there’s anything feistier than Jimmy’s spirit, it’s the way he lived his life—filled with joy, love, and, let’s be honest, a few well-crafted pranks thrown in for good measure.
