James Paige Holley, 89, of Grove City, OH and former longtime resident of Holly Hill subdivision of west Columbus passed away May 31, 2013. He was born in Ansted, WV on December 24, 1923.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Lona, son, James Guy Holley, parents, James F. and Hazel Holley, and brothers, Milton and George.
Surviving family includes, son, Mickey (Shelley) Holley, daughter-in-law, Sandy Holley grandchildren, Kristy (Tadd) Conkel, Korinne (Jason) Cline, Michael (Cari) Holley, Kendra Holley, Heather (Jason) Riggs, Christine Diddle , 9 great-grandchildren, nieces, Rita (John) Risner and Brenda (Ron) Patrick . Paige served in the Army during WW II. He received a Good Conduct Medal, an American Theater Ribbon, and a European African Eastern Ribbon.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00pm, Monday, June 3, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Graveside services will be held at 10:30am, Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, OH. The family would like to thank Ohio Health HomeReach Hospice and Dr. Bope and the team from the VA Palliative Care Clinic.
