James P. Propst, age 65, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Violet Propst.
He is survived by his daughter Jamie Propst and her mother, Terri Wolfe; siblings, Mike Propst, Joyce and Richard Cook; as well as several nieces and nephews.
If there is one thing we are sure of, he loved his time as a baseball player! He loved telling about his adventures as a St. Louis Cardinals pitcher. He would never turn down a good time. He loved having fun! If you ever came across Jimmy you would definitely have a story to tell. Everyone knew him as a humble man with a great sense of humor.
He is now walking with the Lord and starting a brand new adventure with God!
The family will receive guests on Thursday, February 4, 2021 from 4-6:30 p.m. at Newcomer-SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway in Grove City, Ohio. The Funeral Service will begin at 6:30 p.m. Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday at St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 S. High Street in Lockbourne, Ohio.
