James Michael "Jim" Rector, age 71, of Delaware, passed away February 22, 2022. Jim was born April 30, 1950 to Roger and Betty Rector.
Jim loved bowling and cars. Jim enjoyed riding motorcycles and liked everything Harley Davidson, his home office reflected that. Jim loved to root for The Ohio State Buckeyes. Jim had many successful careers including computer programmer, engineer, and information technology support.
Jim will be deeply missed by his children; daughter Richel (Scott) Weyand, son Cory (Sarah) Loftin, son Asa (Mary) Loftin; grandchildren Christian (Kristina) Maier, Grace Maier, Marley Loftin, Sofie Loftin, Mira Loftin, Lily Loftin, Cory (Coco) Loftin, and Jessie Loftin; brothers Thomas (Lois) Rector and Larry Rector; and many nieces and nephews.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents, first wife Denise Rector, and beloved wife of 26 years, Paulette Rector.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 26, 2022, from 11a.m.-1p.m., at Newcomer NW Chapel, 10051 Brewster Lane, Powell OH, 43065, where a service will begin at 1 p.m.
