ROPER
James Edward Roper, 51, passed away February 13, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Oliver Roper and Lucille Thurmond Hughes. James is survived by his siblings, Bobby (the late Nina) Hughes, Betty Flowers, Lillie Burnett, Jerry (Barbara) Hughes and Randall (Rachelle) Roper; as well as nieces, nephews and other family members. James was a dedicated custodian at OSU and enjoyed sports, especially fishing and basketball. He also enjoyed photography. Visitation Saturday, February, 18, 2012 from 9 am until the time of Funeral Service at 10 am at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Reverend Yvonne Gilmore will officiate. Interment to follow at Grove City Cemetery, Grove City, OH.
