James H. Saylor, passed away on July 10, 2022 after two years of illness. He was born on May 4, 1941 in Dayton, OH to the late J.W. Riley and Edith (Kinder) Saylor.
He graduated from Colonel White High School in 1959. He enlisted in the USAF where he was stationed at George AFB (CA) until 1963. After his discharge he attended the College of San Mateo where he earned an undergraduate degree in Accounting. He returned to Ohio to attend Wright State University and earn a BS degree in Finance. In 2001, Jim graduated from DeVry with a technology degree. He worked as an accountant for many years. Then he was hired by the U.S. Postal Service from which he retired in 2001 after 25 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Marie.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years Bonnie. Also surviving is brother-in-law Paul Maiorana and nephew Jason (Robyn) Gardner-both from Colorado, cousins, Jack (Marty) Sharts, Nancy (Joe) Hopko, Marilyn (Ed) Cromer and Jean Hubbard. Jim will be missed by many friends and special dedicated nurse Keva Charlton. Thanks to all at the Freesenius Center and the Mt. Carmel Rehabilitation Hospital.
