James David Sturgill

James D. Sturgill, 76, passed away May 13, 2021. Retired from the US Navy and owned Cardinal Electronics. He was a member of the American Legion.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Luther Sturgill and Mildred Robinson; sister, Sue Dougherty; grandchildren, Bridgette and Angel Meyer.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Brenda; children, Robert (Suzetta) Sturgill, Ann Marie (Carson) Meyer, David Sturgill, Jacqueline (Jim) McCool, Lisa Watkins, James P. Sturgill, and Andrew (Stephanie) Sturgill; 20 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Sturgill; sisters, Linda Gibson and Diana Devore; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation Monday, May 24, 2021 from 9am until the time of Funeral Service at 10:30am at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Interment to follow at Dayton National Cemetery, Dayton, OH at 1:30pm.
