James P. Sullivan

James Patrick Sullivan of Grove City, Ohio lost his battle with cancer. He was born on February 21, 1940 in Columbus, Ohio and passed away on June 3, 2021 in Grove City, Ohio.
Jim attended High School at Aquinas in Columbus. He retired from Consolidated Freight (CF) and the Teamsters after 30 years. Jim was also a barber for over 30 years. Jim served in the US Army-Reserves 18-months. Jim loved God, his family, country and cars. He enjoyed going to Car Shows with his friends. Jim and Jackie were members of the Holy Family Catholic Church of Columbus.
Jim is preceded in death by his Father Joseph Walter Sullivan and his Mother Bertha Porter-Sullivan. Sisters Maxine Sullivan-Dugo and Kathleen Sullivan-White. Brother Joseph (Katie) Sullivan. Grand-Daughters Terra Nicole Sullivan and Jessica Carmen Sullivan. He is survived by his wife of 23 years Jacqueline (Jackie) Lynn Sullivan. Brother, Michael (Gay) Sullivan. Sister, Patty Geygan. Children Mary Ann (Kirk) Sullivan, Teresa James, William (Keith) Swartz, John Lawrence (Melissa) Sullivan, Kathy Merz, James Michael (Nancy) Sullivan. Grandchildren Adam (Keara) James, Nicholas (Maygan) James, Amber (Mike) Harris, Gavin Joseph Sullivan, Camden Jacob Sullivan, Trevor Mullins-Sullivan, Colin Sullivan, Kristen Merz, Kacy Merz. Great-Grandchildren Nikolai James, Layla James, Jemma James, Michael Harris, Laci Harris. Many Cousins, Nieces and Nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 7, 2021 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the NEWCOMER SOUTHWEST CHAPEL 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 9:00am at Holy Family Catholic Church of Columbus 584 W Broad St, Columbus, OH 43215. Entombment to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
