James Willard Cecil, 75, of Johnstown, passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2007, surrounded by his loving family. Born to the late Benton and Eula Mae (Tate) Cecil, James is preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Edith (Williams) Cecil; granddaughter, Jamie Christine Bolden; sisters, Dorothy Knight and Dolly Paul; brothers, Junior, R.D., and Bernard Cecil. Survivors include his wife, Linda (Coleman) Cecil; son, James Lee (Debbie) Cecil; his wife's sons, Jerrold (Tammy) and Kenneth Bolden; sisters, Nannie Lowe, Frances "Clemmie" Wykle, Sylvia (Effort) Newsome, Bonnie Cecil; grandchildren, Hunter, Mason, Parker Cecil, Wendi, Jodi, David, Megan; great-grandchildren, Riley and Eleni; special niece and nephews, Sue Lindsey, Martin Paul and Richard Lee; many other nieces,nephews and friends. James faithfully attended Cathedral of Praise Church in Pataskala. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 25, 2007, 4-7PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the service to follow at 7:00PM. Interment will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA. A special thanks to the Central Ohio Hospice, Sue (RN) and Pam (RCP) for their kind care and comfort.
