James "Jim" W. Mueller, Sr., passed away Sunday, March 29, 2009. Jim was born on November 4, 1924 to the late Oscar C. and Florence Mueller in Galloway, Ohio. He was a 1943 graduate of Grove City High School. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the United States Navy and Air National Guard. He worked for Ohio Bell Phone Company and 7-up Bottling Company. Jim and Helen were owners of Dog-n-Suds in Bellefontaine, Ohio. He retired from IDS. Jim was also a 55 year member of the Ohio Masons in Grove City. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Helen L. Mueller; children, Darryl (Steve) Hanger, James "Jamie" W. Mueller, Jr., and Tami (Skip Link) Mueller; grandchildren, Donny (Allison) Watkins, Davy (Britanie) Watkins, Daniel Watkins, and J.P. Heilman; great grandchildren, D.J. Watkins, Taylor Carnes, and Bryant Watkins; and sisters, Delores Ricketts, and Betty (Donald) Mueller. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 1, 2009 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Funeral service will be held Thursday, April 2, 2009 at 11:00AM at the funeral home. Pastor David Buchenroth officiating. Interment will follow at Galloway Cemetery, Galloway, Ohio.
