James A. White

James "Bear" A. White, 79, of Westerville, Ohio passed away on February 11, 2024. Bear was born in Beverly, West Virginia on March 14, 1944 to the late Jason and Eva (Pennington) White.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Lynn (Dave) Snodgrass, his step-son, Dale Salmons, his brothers, Randy, June, Lawrence, Bill, and his half-brother, Clifford, his sisters, Geraldine Chewning and Louise Louk.

Bear is survived by his loving partner of 30 years, Diane Salmons, his daughters, Sheri (Jerry) Catlett, and Mitzi White, his step-son, Samuel Salmons, his sisters, Trudy Fisher, Lou Minke, and Jeanie Weese, his grandkids, Steven (Kim) Catlett, Michael (Jayne) Catlett, Tony Slagle, Tiffany White, and Brittany White, his great-grandkids, Jacob, Ethan, Samantha, Dillon, Anna, and Cara, his special nephew, Timmy, his special pet, Rusty, and many other nieces and nephews.

Bear was generous to a fault. He loved his work as a dry-wall finisher.

He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
