A beloved mother, daughter, wife, sister, friend, cousin, niece, cheery mail carrier and more; Jamie Lou Alafare Walton Marple, left this world unexpectedly at 45 years young (29, really..shh!) on October 26, 2021. She was born in Columbus, Ohio March 20, 1976 (throws up west side fingers).
Jamie was a lover of life, God, her family and friends. She loved to party and was always found at the center of fun. If you were blessed enough to know her, her presence was strong and her soul was bright. She was funny, outgoing and vivacious. She was quick witted and boy, did you want to stay on her good side! "Sunshine mixed with a little hurricane." Is how she would describe herself.
Her favorite place to be was Ohio during winter…. Just kidding. It was obviously the beach! She was madly in love with her husband, Scott. She shared a uniquely close bond like no other with her mother, Sharon and daughter, Kylie. They all spoke daily and endlessly about this wild thing we call life. She also loved to laugh with her knuckle-head of a son, Brandon and goofy father, Phil.
When you think of Jamie Lou, celebrate the amazing, especially hilarious, memories you have of her. Recall not just her outer beauty, but inner as well. Remember that life is fragile, short, and should be lived the Jamie way; which is to the FULLEST! She was truly the glue of the family.
Jamie is survived by her husband, Scott; her son, Brandon; daughter, Kylie; her parents, Phillip D. Walton Sr. and Sharon K. Walton Grose; step-dad, Michael Grose; brother, Dwayne (Jamie) Walton; nephews, Cameron, Owen, Phillip and Max Walton; special cousins; step-daughter, Alli; mother-in-law, Ruby Hoffine; as well as many other important family members and friends that were like family.
Her presence in our lives will be sorely missed and heart wrenchingly felt forever.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 5, 2021, at Newcomer SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, from 11a.m.-1 p.m., and from 2p.m.-5p.m., with a funeral service beginning at 5 p.m.
