Jamie L. Sheppard, 52, of Columbus, passed away November 15, 2006. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Blakely; aunt, Leona Conrad and uncle, Earl Rogers. Jamie is survived by her daughter, Kelly Sheppard; Kelly's father, Dale (Anita) Vanderpool; Kelly's stepfather, Virgil Sheppard and Sandy Duff; mother, Judy Blakely; sister, Sherry (David) Kerber; nephew, Todd (Kelly) Kerber; niece, Lisa (Jason) Sabo; great nephew, Jude Sabo and special friends and neighbors, Justin and Shawna Stone. Jamie worked in Marketing for Ohio Bell for almost 30 years. She loved all animals but her greatest love was for her horses. The family wishes to thank the Ohio State University Medical Center Doctors and Nurses in the SICU burn unit for all their prayers, comfort and hugs. Visitation will be held 2:00-4:00PM and 6:00-8:00PM Monday, November 20, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio with a prayer service at 7:30PM Monday. Funeral services will be held 10:00AM Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at the funeral home with Pastoral Minister Marti Hurd officiating. Interment will be at Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Hilliard, Ohio A luncheon will be held after the graveside committal with final details available at the service.
