Jan Roger Snedeker

Jan R. Snedeker, age 77, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on November 12, 2024 in Charleston, South Carolina. Jan was born on October 8, 1947 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Roger and Carol Snedeker.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Susan Snedeker, his daughter, Eleanor "Ellie" Long, and his two infant twin boys.

Left to cherish his memory, he is lovingly survived by his son, Jan "Garret" (Angela) Snedeker, his grandchildren, Noah and Alaina Snedeker, and his loving girlfriend, Sonja Souders.

Jan was a 1965 graduate of Columbus West High School. He attended The Ohio State University, and was a member of Delta Sigma Pi. He dedicated 36 years of service to Heapy Engineering as a Field Representative, and he was a longtime member of the City of Columbus Board of Review of Electrical Contractors. 

He will be deeply missed.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from 4pm-6pm at Newcomer SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123 for calling hours. A funeral service will follow starting at 6pm with Ed Wilson officiating.
