Jan Howard Zimmerman, passed away on June 6, 2012 after a short illness.
He was born August 18, 1941 in Fairborn, OH and graduated from The Ohio State University where he was a member of Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity.
Jan retired from a position with the Federal Government in 1997 after 32 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Antoinette (Toni); children, Brad (Kris), Eric (Heather) and Lisa; brother, Chal (Judy); sister, Sondra; grandchildren, Allison, Chloe, Sophia, Samuel, Maxwell, Kelsey and Jack all of whom he loved dearly.
Jan had a great passion for travel and photography.
Visitation will be Friday, June 15, 2012 from 3:00-4:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, with the memorial service beginning at 4:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Kidney Fund, 6110 Executive Blvd. Suite 1010 Rockville, MD 20852 or the International Waldenstrom's Macroglobulinemia Foundation (www.iwmf.com)
