Jane Elizabeth (Moore) Yon, 93 years young, March 25 1911 to June 26, 2004. Beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. Preceded in death by husband James Yon, brother Howard Moore and son David Yon. Survived by brother Andrew D. Moore, daughter Susan and Ron Houser, grandchildren Deborah and Davis King, Eric and Sarah Houser, Karen and Gene Taylor, Jennifer and Jody Marang, great-grandchildren Alexander, Christopher, Mary, Madeline, Andrew, Katherine, Nicholas, Martin, Ashley, Ryan. Join in the celebration of Jane's life Wednesday June 30th at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road Columbus. Calling hours 3-5PM. Service at 5:00PM with Irish wake to follow. Jane was a devoted registered nurse, spending over 30 years at the Grier School for Girls in Birmingham, PA. She touched so many lives with her gentle spirit. We love her very much, she will be deeply missed. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, that donations be made in her memory to your local area Humane Society.
