Janet L. Brewer, age 83, passed away on November 28, 2020. She was born on December 30, 1937 to the late Louisa and Adolf Hameister in Oak Harbor, Ohio.
Jan graduated from Oak Harbor High School, Class of 1955. She earned her Masters in Social Work from Ohio State University. Jan was in private practice for 20 years after working for Franklin County Children's Services. She was a cut-throat card-player and adored her family and friends.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Jennifer Brewer; sister, Marjorie Fillmore; nieces, Sandy Fillmore and Crystal Cleary; nephews, Dan Fillmore and Ted Fillmore; granddaughter, Jaclyn (Tom) Davis; 3 great-grandchildren. Jan was preceded in death by her son, Jonathon Brewer.
Memorial Services will be held in the Spring of 2021 at Upper Arlington Lutheran Church, 3500 Mill Run Dr, Hilliard, OH 43026.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Hospice of Central Ohio.
