Janet G. Cahill

Janet G. Hanley Cahill, 79, of Galloway, Ohio, passed away February 23, 2025. She was born on February 17, 1946 in Columbus, OH. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Paul J. Hanley and mother, Joan G. (Duncan) Hanley; sister-in-law, Patsy Johnson. 

Surviving family includes, husband, Robert Cahill; brothers-in-law, William (Kathy) Cahill, of Danville, IL and Steve (Janice) Cahill, of Galloway, OH; sisters-in-law, Susan (David) Sundeen, of Greenville, TX, Jeannie Small, of Humboldt, IA, and Kathy (Everette) Salmons, of Pembroke, GA; numerous nieces and nephews. 

Janet worked for 30 years for the Ohio Division of Wildlife as a Hunter Education and Safety Coordinator. She developed the statewide Ohio Trapper Education Program in 1976. Janet was a state and national rifle champion. She was on the Westland area commission, as well as President of the Summerlyn HOA Board of Trustees. 

In her free time, she enjoyed home decorating, landscaping and gardening.
