Janet L. Cole, 77 of Zanesville Ohio, passed away peacefully on February 23rd, 2023, while at the Riverview Health and & Rehabilitation Center in Columbus Ohio.
Janet was born on May 13th, 1945, in Franklin County. She is the daughter of the late Herbert and Mary Weir. Janet loved spending time with her family and was always right beside her husband, who will all miss her dearly.
Janet is survived by her husband, David R Cole; her son David (Brittany) R. Cole II; her grandchildren Brendan, Jake, Kayonna, and Nina; her sisters, Betty Thomas, Mary Bates, Pat Yorde, and Doris Lester; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father Herbert E. Weir on July 22nd, 1978, and mother Mary E. Weir on April 1st, 1967.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 from 10am-12pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd, Columbus, OH 43231 with a funeral service immediately following at 12pm also at Newcomer Northeast Chapel. She will be laid to rest in the Liberty Cemetery in Liberty Township, Licking County Ohio. Pastor Cody Updegrave will officiate the services.
