Janet Sue Gainer

Janet Sue Gainer, 78, passed away peacefully on February 21st, 2024. She was born April 8th, 1945 in Parkersburg, WV to her late parents, Richard Woodyard III and Francis Harless. She is preceded in death by her brother, Richard Woodyard II and daughter, Sheri Brabham. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, David Gainer; Brother, Michael Woodyard; Son, Michael (Nicole) Brabham; Grandchildren, Allie and Nicholas Brabham; Great-Granddaughter, Ella Moore and many nieces and nephews along with many close friends.

Janet truly lived life to the fullest, never letting her smile fade, and bringing an abundance of joy to those in her presence. Janet had an uncanny ability to touch the lives around her with her caring soul and enduring heart. Janet will be remembered for her strong devotion as a Mother, Wife, Grandmother, Friend, and Elvis' #1 fan. Her contagious laughter, grace, compassion, and kindness will be missed deeply by all of those who knew her.

Visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral home in Grove City on Monday, February 26th from 5-8pm. Funeral services will be held on February 27th beginning at 11am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery.
