Janet Ann Henton, 85, of Westerville, passed away Friday, October 20, 2006, at Village of Westerville Nursing Center. She was born October 3, 1921, in New Philadelphia, OH., daughter of the late Walter and Evelyn Moore Holzworth. Janet was a teacher in Corry, PA. and Bristol, CT. She led in the creation of a community preschool in Bristol. She was always active in her church. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a brother Harold Holzworth. She is survived by her husband, Keith T. Henton; daughters, Ann (Richard) Shaw and Mary Henton; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, October 22, 2006 from 2:00-5:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home N.E. Chapel 3047 E. Dublin-Granville, Columbus. Funeral services will be held Monday, October, 23, 2006 at 10:30 AM at Karl Road Baptist Church 5750 Karl Road, Columbus with Dr. William Bowser officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The Book of Remembrance at the Karl Road Baptist Church 5750 Karl Road, Columbus.
