Janet C. Husat, 81, passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 in Westerville, Ohio.
Jan was born on March 23, 1940 in Alliance, Ohio to the late Eugene and Wanda Husat.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Dolores Husat.
Jan is survived by her guardian and friend, Ramona Devore; cousins, Palmer Cook and Richard Cook.
Jan was a nurse educator and retired from The Ohio State University. She received many awards and accolades during her career.
She belonged to several organizations, including ASPCA, Tea Party and various political organizations.
A memorial service will be held in Jan's honor at a later date.
She will be laid to rest at Moultrie Chapel Cemetery in Columbiana County, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jan's honor to ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
