LaVelle-Burchett, Janet S., 65, of Columbus, Ohio, went to be with our Lord on Friday, May 12, 2006. She was born in Carter Co., KY on May 24, 1940 to Estill and Louise (Howard) Burchett. She graduated from Coalton High School in 1958 and was a professional secretary most of her life. She went back to college at the age of 48 and graduated with an Associates Degree in Business in 1992. She is survived by her three children and spouses, Dina Jenkins (Jeffrey Davidson), Melissa Taylor, Scott (Valerie) LaVelle; 10 grandchildren and nieces, nephews and their families. Janet was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held 2:00PM Saturday, May 20, 2006 at Gregoryville Holiness Church with Pastor Lewis Davis officiating. Inurnment will be held at Plumber-Burchett Cemetery in Carter Co., KY. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home, Grove City, Ohio. Messages of condolences may be left at www.newcomerfamily.com
